As Announced earlier this season by Team manager Didier Brunel, Team Telek@m has acheived his goal of the season that is to be amoung The top 15 teams. No one took his words seriously as his team has just been promoted from Division 2 at the start of the season but now the facts are there.
Didier stated
As we were just promoted in Division 1 we immediately realised that our team did not have the strenth and depth of most teams against whom we would have to compeat and thus we had to spend a lot on training and buying riders. To have enough funds the team had to sell his very best talent and was considerabely weaken for some time but slowly good riders signed contracts with the team until 2 days ago when the last targeted rider signed.
We decided not to only concentrate on climbing and this proved to be a great initiative as our sprint captain has managed to place himself in almost every race he participated. Now that our team is complete we are going to focus only on training and we hope that our riders will have a high AV.
Now we are going to concentrate on the Germany Tour and we hope to finish on the podium on our first participation.At first i wanted to train Isak Backe to be the captain but he maxed early and now our best chance is definetely Migueo Cabral and we have really some quality riders to help him in the mountains. For Team Telek@m the tour really start tomorrow with stage 4 and we just hope to get some luck and avoid injuries. Milburn Stahlman is our great hope for the future and he will give all that he have to snatch the first White Jersey of the game.
